Richard Power [Chairman] Richard brings over 30 years of experience in Finance to the table. For the past 20 years, he served as CEO and Executive Chairman of Focus Capital Group Limited, where he transformed the business into a multimillion-dollar premier Vendor Finance operation in Australasia. Under his leadership, the company provided services to major banking institutions and top vendors such as Apple, Ericsson, Toshiba, and Kodak. In 2004, Focus Capital Group was sold to a banking consortium, with Richard continuing as Director until recently.
Michael Hawkins [CEO] Michael, a veteran of the Affirm team started back in 2005, assumed the role of CEO of Affirm Software Group in 2024. His leadership is fueled by a passion for innovation and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Guided by the belief that there’s always a better way to solve problems and enhance processes, Michael’s approach has been instrumental in his career and leadership style. With extensive experience in developing impactful software solutions that address real-world challenges, he cultivates a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning at Affirm Software. Beyond his professional endeavours, Michael maintains a balanced lifestyle as a Tai Chi instructor and cycling around Melbourne, keeping him grounded and energised
Amanda Field – [Implementation and Partnerships Manager] Amanda is Affirm Software’s go-to person for new client Implementations while looking after our white label business partners in their day to day questions, support or enhancements. With over 8 years in the HR industry, Amanda uses her experience to connect with clients and partners to not only implement their systems, but tailor them to their unique requirements. She uses her love of helping and assisting people to continue to her own improvement to always provide better solutions to clients and partners alike. When not working, Amanda enjoys video games, D&D, her two cats and getting out and about with friends and family for brunches and dinners alike.
Swati Johri [Technical Lead] With 14 years of experience in the IT industry, Swati has developed strong expertise in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions while ensuring robust performance and compliance with industry standards. Throughout her career, she has successfully completed numerous projects for high-profile clients such as Morgan Stanley, Citi Bank, and Axis Bank. Her tenure at Tata Consultancy Services, a prestigious multinational firm, was particularly significant in shaping her professional skills. Now, as a Tech Lead at Affirm, Swati oversees all aspects of development and leads the execution of technical projects with precision and expertise.
